Kelsey Antle, PhD

Kelsey Antle focuses her work on the intersection of social determinants of health, criminal legal involvement, and equity across social systems. She currently serves as the Managing Director of Research and Evaluation for Pretrial Services at a local NYC nonprofit, where she handles all process and impact evaluation activities for New Yorkers assigned pretrial release. Previously, Kelsey worked at the CUNY Institute for State and Local Governance, most recently handling performance measurement and evaluation for diversion, reentry, and college-in-prison projects funded by the District Attorney of New York, and prior to that worked at the Brennan Center for Justice at the NYU School of Law studying institutional racism related to criminal fines and fees. Kelsey received both her MA and PhD from the University of Florida Department of Sociology and Criminology & Law, primarily studying the collateral consequences of parental incarceration on child wellbeing.
